Monday 22/11/10

Today in Laura's Class, we made lil postcards for a charity auction, I created a lil colourful one with a peace sign in the middle saying "Peace Out! " :)

Then in Dee's class, we continued with our magazine project, I was at the stage of almost finishing my first game review page, in which case, now I am, and I am currently on my second page, which afterwards, I will go over both pages and check if they need anything else before submitting to Dee to print off, below you can see a print screen of both to see how it is going :P

Friday 19/11/10

Today in John's class, we continued preparing the scenes we were planning on filming for our soon-to-be-awesome infomercial!!!

We filmed them in the field outside the music block, the library, the canteen, the Student Union, the Student Finance area and a small guide round the college.

I did a bit of acting within the infomercial, with Me and Graham introducing ourselfs, then a scene on how the college does not tollerate bullying, I was also seen reading in the library and was filmed chilling in both the Student Union and the Canteen.

We came back to Johns class and wrote into our blogs, which is what you see before your eyes :P

So that concludes another week done!!!

Tuesday 16/11/10

Awk I'm tired...but anyways...

Today in Rob's class, I made a start on my music video, using the song "Synthetic" by Spineshank and using pictures from the Halo game series while making it on Windows Movie Maker.

Then later on in Gavin's class, I did a listening assessment about racism, watching the 20 minute video then answering the questions and then discussed what I'm going to do my presentation on, in which case, I am doing about some of the awesomest games of 2010.

Lastly in Dee's class, since I was finished My Article Review, I made a start in creating templates and after finishing that small task, I have finally made a start on it, more next week....

Today in Laura's class, we continued with our FairTrade project and I wrote down what I found in the history :)

Then Later in Dee's class we continued with our Article Planner and I ended up finishing mines by adding pictures and text :)

It may be short but atleast I did something...

Today in Laura's class, we logged onto Moodle and voted for a charity that we want the proceeds to go to, I chose Comic Relief, because  they are epic and without comic relief, they're wouldn't be sonic relief :P

Then later in Dee's class, we downloaded shizzle to our U: Drives which contained pictures by Andy Warhol and made an article on him on Microsoft Publisher then took a screen grab which you can see below (:

Today in John's class, we opened our blogs for John to see our current progress with what we were doing, then we searched up our EPK subject in four different search engines, see below :)

Tuesday 2/11/10

Hello people, tis that time of the day for another......BLOG ENTRY!!! 


Today in Rob's class, I started a powerpoint on a specific Music Genre, which the class is gonna have to guess, maybe next week? It won't be hard... promise ;)


Later on in Gavin's class, after 2 attempts at redoing the main-points in last weeks work, so I can move on, I finally did it, started the assessment and finished it, hopefully I did well, we'll find out next week. :)


Then in Dee's class, I brought in my magazine (Official Nintendo Magazine to be exact) and traced over a double page spread, to give an example of a layout, and afterwards, I marked each section in colours so it'll last for next years students and Im now onto starting my reviews for the college magazine, and after very little thinking (because I'm too awesome to think for long) I have made my choices.....

Sonic 4 : Episode 1 (released : October 2010)

after 16 years, Sonic 3 gets the sequal it deserves!!! :D

More on this when I actually review the games :P

Monday 1/11/10

Today in Laura's class, we researched for 5 charities and wrote down the information, so that we can make a verdict on one.

Later in Dee's class, we continued with the article research task, then I went on the computer and looked at examples of Game reviews for an Idea for my one. :)

There are 2 examples of reviews for games, both taken from The Official Nintendo Magazine website!

Example 1 : Review of Lego Harry Potter for Wii!

Example 2 : Review of Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions also for Wii!!!

And that concludes another blog entry by....me!!! :D
